I'm not sure if i should get a new board from www.blankdecks.com or stick with this one or add some stuff to this one! It was my friends old board and he gave it to me. The deck looks like its used to shit. I'm pretty much in the Beginning phase now.
thanks
Zach

Jessup, black magic... just ask for the shops tape it's all the same basically and you should pay over £5 /$5 for a sheet of grip no matter what brand

You might want to clean the bearings out also, soak them in some Gasoline, Dry them out and add some car lubricant if you have any, its cheap to buy at the auto shops.

how do you remove Bearings?

Unscrew the the Nuts holding the wheels to the trucks, pull the wheels out so that one bearing is still hanging on the axle and the other is off, twist the wheel and pull the bearing out. Check this link it will help you out. http://www.ramprage.com/tuneups/skateboard_tune_ups/1/133

heres how you check if you need a new board:

1)Pick up your skateboard
2)look at the middle of the skateboard
3)are you looking at the graphic side of your deck or are you looking at a wall or something?

if you are looking at your deck then it is not broken in half, in that case stop being a pussy and skate it.

If your looking at the wall or tv ect then it means your deck is broken in half. If your REALLY hardcore then you still skate it, but i can tell your not THAT hardcore yet, so thats when you need a new deck.

Fail proof system.
