Smith shith:
Well i cant do them at all! ive been trying to front smith the small flatbar at the skatepark but i dont even get close... at all. I go pretty much parallel to the bar and ollie up turn a lil bit, my front wheels hit the ground, my back trucks fall of the rail and i fall off. Someone explain how to lock in, how to slide, how to lean and how to come out... please!

Higher 180:
Well ive been heavily dying to learn fs 360 ollies but i cant freakin 180 high enough at all or well. i wind up, ollie spin and land at the same time i finish 180 and the whole thing is low, i cant seem to pop them up high or properly, ive gotta relearn them cuz they are liek mobbed or sumthing too.

so yeh help me out if you can. thanks

for smith you gotta like ollie on, but instead of just just laning on it you need to hav a bit of pressure on the back so the front does just fall, you gotta keep it like that and have it smooth. For 180, ollie really high then turn, try that to get a high 180, and for 360, just try 270 ollies like me.

For the smith, you go on it like your going to 5-0. Get your tail on first, and move out like your gonna do a salad. Hook you back truck on, and apply A TINY bit of pressuer on your front leg. DO NOT under any circmstance, lean forward. Your board will get caught, and you will fly forward. Remember to commit, and practicine balancing on it first.

For the 360, I suggest you practice them fakie first. You can spin them in to a 270, then pivot. When you feel like you can do them ith full spin, remember to wind up ALOT and spin, like ou've never span before. Try to make yourself spin faster than your board, but don't let the board get away.

k thanks guys. well i guess the 180s will be fine with practise but lets talk smith. I was at the park before i read this and ive gone to this good guy "so do you ollie into the salad position and then put heaps of weight on your nose?" he said no you ollie into the salad position above the bar then balance your weight like a 50-50 so its even but the front is lower and to the side because the trucks arent on. so anyway i ollie turn a bit and try and 50-50 and sorta lock it in but the middle of my deck thats supposed to be sliding the rail slides off to the left (im regular) and my whole truck comes off to the side. how do i lock into the smith grind cuz even when i tried to put my board on a smith stall and then stand on it on a ledge, the deck slides off and the board hits the ground. help me

All those kids want to learn the big stuff right away without even learning the basics. Just stick to a 50-50 and a 5-0 untill you got them wired. Chill down, and then you can work on that Smith Grind. Oh, for the Smith.. Ollie above the rail land with your back truck and stomp your front foot diagonally down (important!) and lean back brother. Now go do a switch heelflip backside nosebluntslide 360 shove-it out, right away son!
