i don't know what today's version of truck sliders are,but back in the day, they were called truck copers.they snapped onto the truck[they were plastic pieces] and protetected it as well as making them slide farther and faster.:(

i checked out the site you posted, skatendude:) ,and they are EXACTLY how i described them:D ,only in new skool format:D !it's great to see improvements on old school ideas:D ,but what worries me about these are the twist ties:( .won't they interfere with grinding:mad: ?back then:cool: ,independent, tracker, thunder and some other companies had these...all they did was snap on..that's it;) !they were pieces of rectangular bars that were available to the truck names that were printed on the copers only.these,on the other hand:) ,have good market appeal because they will fit multiple trucks.now if only they made better and more modern tail guards and rails[aside from the firms],old skool WILL be back..in style: :D !i'll try these out as soon as i get some $.
