i am starting skatboarding and i am looking for an intermediate board, around 70 bux, i was thinking an element board and i dunno what else from there.. but what other boards out there are betetr than element as durability, pop/concave(kinda high concave) more than 2 1/2 inches and wheels trucks etc.. for around 70 bux..

the boards i was looking at were elment enjoi and girl boards.... if thos are crap then tell me a beter board...

all above boards are nice. i am an enjoi rider myself. They have perfect concave(in my opinion) nice pop and great feel. the shape might feel weird at first, buy you will get used to it. but when you say board for 70 do you just mean deck or setup?

i mean setup. for the best stuff for around 70. i am more street, ollies kickflips heelflips, all the flip tricks and soem grinding on unsmooth objects and smooth objects.. all around....

and do the trucks really matter that much?i am intermediates jsut go around trying to outcompete my friends... and would abec 3 really make me suck worse? like tricks adn stuff?

you cant get a setup for $70 unless you go to walmart basically. a brand name deck is $50 and blank decks run around $35.

What is the price for a good deck in America? Eg. Element, Enjoi, Toy Machine, Zero, etc? In england its £60, i was just wondering if we are getting ripped of?

Anyway, go into a shop and have a look around feel the decks stand on them. The only thing you won't be able to know is pop. So for that, go on a review site. www.ramprage.com has them somewhere i bet......

The money is different here and in england, for one pound (they dont have dollars) one pound is more than a dollar.

A whole setup for that price you should go to eBay and check out what they have there.

I'm pretty sure you can tell the pop of a deck by looking at the size of the curve right after the tail (or nose) if u know what i mean

Yeah, a pound is closer to 2 dollars, so everything is like double the price-in England- to us Americans.

well, you wont get a good setup for that much, but for a deck, you could go with an alien workshop. really good for intermediate skaters
