Any Fat Wreck band should be removed immediately. I hate to be a dick about this, but our bands get really upset when their records are made so easily available, so I am just carrying out their wishes. Our lawyer has been made aware of your site and she now has added your site to a list which here assistants will be monitoring daily. It is up to you to see that there are absolutely NO Fat bands listed on your site, or legal action will be taken. I'm sorry about that, but that's just what I gotta do. While I am writing, you should also remove this link and ANY others that pertain to The Falcon:

Thanks for being so cooperative Eddie. I'm actually the Webmaster for Fat and I happen to have some photos posted here and there. There are a few of us here at Fat that monitor illegal filesharing, and if you still want to confirm the validity of my inquiry you can contact email address' removed

In any case, I appreciate your help with this stuff. Filesharing is something that I am personally undecided on, but all our bands are adamant about us curtailing it. In the example of Enemy You, the guys cited your site as the reason it took them 6 years to get their record out. They are in debt to the tune of about $20,000, and if you were to calculate the amount of potential sales they lost from the downloads on your site, it's almost $3,000. I know it's a tired argument, and to be honest, I was on your side until I heard all these stories about how much bands are struggling nowadays. It's something that made me think twice...anyhow, thanks for your understanding and I hope to keep this positive. As for a list of bands on Fat, here goes:

Well, nobody would give away their albums, the best they could do is take maybe 10,000$ each to last them until their next album, and give the rest to charity or use it to help garage bands get better equipment.

i like fat wreck, they got some pretty good bands and such, but i dont give a shit about the link. if you want to download music get a download engine or whatever, ares, winmx, whatever.... who really cares, ok they dont want their music out on some link? whatever, thats their choice, just because someone from fat wreck said that he doesnt want this happening doesnt mean "fat mike" himself sent this guy... so that makes NOFX hypocritical?

well i fell out with nofx...they were my favourite band for ages...they have some good basslines from fat mike but i hate the guitar player erik melvin, i just dont like him...and supposedly theres some subliminal messages in the album 'punk in drublic' but i listen to it all the time...it hasnt made me do anything...
