Ok. Heres the deal, i learned this grab (eh? grab? lame... yes) and i THINK it just MIGHT be an Iguana Air. I tweak my tail to 90 degrees and grab behind my back foot with my back hand? What is this called? thanks anyone.

All grabs are easy... haha.

Hey snowboarder maybe you can help me. Whats the proper way to do a Japan Air? Like.. can you define it for me. Also, if I am riding goofy, and take my front hand between my legs and grab toeside... what's that? And same for the rear hand doing the same thing.

I beleive the Japan Air is QUITE hard to do on a snowboard. The only way to do it without completly being unbalanced in the air on a transition. Japan air you'd have to take your front hand, grab the toeside of your board in FRONT of your front foot with your front hand, and tweak it method style.

And the other grab you're talking about would be some kind of "reverse" roastbeef (canadian bacon for some)....I don't beleive it has a name, but I've heard grab names like flying squirell and seatbelt grab... so invent one and call it like you wish.

As for grabs being easy, I totally agree, there's nothing lamer than a straight air with a grab. SOME grabs are harder to do though, like the japan air, nosegrab or palmer air on big airs.

Alright thanks for clearing that up.

Yeah... doing some grab on a huge kicker is a little tough. Doing a method grab on a big booter is just kind of lame. Throw in a f/s or b/s slow rotating 180 with any grab for super steez. Indy or stalefish look super sexy.
