Can someone help me out here. I'm fairly new at snowboarding and think im learning pretty quickly. My question is this, I can do Frontside 180s and backside 360s, but cannot seem to land backside ones. Anyone have any pointers on landing sick backside ones?
Any help is appreciated.

It will depend on the height of your jump and your airtime, but a backside 1 is...half a backside 3. Just before you leave the ground, bend your knees and turn your head in the direction of your tail. You'll just have to turn your shoulders when you're in the air and your body should follow. I really don't get how you could land backside 3s and not 1s :O

if you can do a backside 360 you should be able to do a backside 180!!

Don't pre spin in any way shape or form, and don't 'cut into' the jump. Go for a straight air, and rotate with your upper body and head once in the air, your lower body will follow. An aligned/centered stance is key; if you're landing on your stomach it means that you're shifting your centre of balance over the toe edge of your board once airborne.
The blindspot is a bitch to get used to, repititon is your friend. :)
If you can't ride switch, start going for lots of small switch straight airs. Doing a full run just straightrunning switch is good to get your confidence up. Switch riding is mostly a mental block, the only real difference when riding switch is the direction you're looking over your shoulder :)
