I got their cd, Andy Warhol, today and its just an amazing cd. lou reed is a great singer and songwirter and they just have a great sound. anyone else here heard them or anything.

The Velvet underground were introduced to me when i was about three. My dad is a lou reed fanatic (Who frequently steals my greatest hits cd). They have a great sound and are really diverse. Ok, Listen to these two songs "Femme Fatal" sung by nico and then "Rock 'n Roll" Sung by Lou Reed and please tell me which one you like more. I like Lou's sound better, but thats just me...

the velvet underground are amazing. i got an origional copy of that on vynil. my dad gave it to me, it was his back when it came out. its such a great album... ya know. the one with the banana on the front.
