^Ha yeah. The movie was made with just $400,000? Wow that cheap! Most movies are at least $800,000 to millions of dollars. Like the Loard of the Rings, it was done with millions and millions of dollars. But then again it did involve a lot of things like crossing the side of new zealand and a lot of other things like the war between the peoples and the orks. There was actually only a few people dressed at orks and they edited in the rest with computers. The war alone probably cost most of the millions spent.

I have friends who didnt like the movie, but it takes about three viewings to fully appreciate the movie in its retarded (meant that in good way) entirety. Safe to say, Napoleon Dynamite is overhyped. But funny as **** regardless.

best friggin' movie ever. my sister is such a hypocrite. she had seen some clips on the internet and hadn't even seen it but she would walk around quoting it and now she chews out people who have seen it that are quoting it. but it does get really annoying I must admit. but worst of all is if they totally **** up the quote and make it sound stupid.

I like the part when Kip is trying to sell the stuff to the lady and he puts it behind the tire and runs it over and is all "shoot!" and drives off.

I was speechless through that whole movie, utterly shocked by the level of stupidity. It was alright, but it's way over-rated, not to mention the quoting. It rivals how annoying people who quote Family Guy are. Yes, random humor is funny, but trying to recreate it is hypocritical.
