One of my best/favorite subjects in school was English...and at the time, I skated a lot. I just happened to like it, and be decent at it.

I read alot, i enjoy it. I don't really mind what i read but at the moment i'm reading quite a few fantasys and biographys, it's not uncool. It's something you do, if people don't like it don't tell them.

Yeah I read a lot too. People think its not cool because it envolves school. But reading is fun. You can learn a lot of things you never knew before.

Reading is damn good for you... I read books for school and stuff. Most books suck, but some are actually quite good and worth your time. I'm taking AP English in grade 12 and it's pretty hard, although I am passing it at the moment... right, books...
- Hawk: Occupation Skateboarder
- J.D. Salinger - Catcher In the Rye
- Ray Bradbury - Farenheit 451
- Any books written by Bill Bryson
- Matt Hoffman - The Ride of My Life
- Aldous Huxley - Brave New World
- Erich Maria Remarque - All Quiet On the Western Front
- Clive Cussler books have good adventures.
- Michael Chrichton - The Great Train Robbery
- Kurt Vonnegut - Cat's Cradle
Check out any of them.

i read books sometimes. Thing is, i havent read a book for personal enjoyment in QUITE a long time. For lit. though I gotta read whenever a novel is assigned. I enjoy reading. I really do. For the past 3 years though, the time i spent reading went to skating. :-37:

Fahrenheit 451 rocks. I read that my sophmore year for english class, since we had a choice of books, and I loved it. I really got into it.

I read a lot, more then the average highschooler. Reading is definitely good for you, expands you horizons, increases vocabulary, learn more, become a better liar...hahha

I read all the time...especially during classes that bore me so I don't get in trouble for sleeping. Its like watching tv...only your brain is working...and you do all the directing in your head. :D

Reading is great, I read all my Skate mags, a few other magazines, and I'm always reading a novel of some sort...Thing is reading isn't being encouraged as much as it used to be. I work in a library and electronics are taking over, we have a talking book for ever book in there, if we don't have it you can order it from another branch...Its a cheaters method of reading but its becoming more and more acceptable.

What kind of books do you folks like? I'm down with action books and, well, a lot of stuff. What about authors? Tom Clancy and the like, John Grisham writes some good books, Dan Brown, Michael Crichton, I love the Lord of the Rings books.

Reading makes you look intelligent. And we all know intelligence leads to the better things in life, for example.

And we all know what women lead to. ;)

I use to like to read and pick books at free will but now Ive moved down to just reading books that you have to that is assigned or for a project. Right now Im reading all quiet on the western front for american world wars. Im like 20 pages from the end and its a damn good book. Im more of a math person then an english person though. Math is where its at.
