there was a guy who actually surfed the tsunami wave to safety. he didnt know there was a tsunami coming and he was jsut surfing but he only had one choice and that was to surf it. i guess it paid off. he was on dsicovery channel talking about it. dont know why i was watching it.......

I believe it, I was on Maui last winter and on the north shore there is a wave called Jaws that gets 60'+ totally sick. Google "Jaws Maui" and look at some of the pics. They're so big and fast there is no way to paddle into them, they've got to be towed in by a watercraft.
