And If you are skating and get hit by a bike going full speed..man that hurts. Last summer I was riding on the back of my friend's bike on his pegs with my board in my hand and holding on with one hand and he sped up all of a sudden and I lost my grip and fell. Then my friend behind me ran me over with his front and back wheels and I couldn't breathe. My arms were torn up and shit too. Just imagine if we were going fast (we werent going fast at all)

BMXs are generally not allowed to in wooden parks because of the damage they do in them, it takes alot of money to maintain parks when skaters use them, when BMXers use them it's even worse.

well my opinion is that bmxers shouldnt rly be in parks and try to do techy tricks like that. I think it looks plain stupid. They should stick to just freestyle and dirt courses, because seing a skater pull a 50 50 on a rail looks alot cooler than seeing a biker grind it with their pegs.

bmxs are allowed in all the crete parks around here. theyre too big and go too fast. theyre pegs can pull the metal off ledges after a while. my friend was skating at the knox bowls and he called his dad and sed to pick him up because there were no buses for a couple hours, and just when his dad came, two bmx guys both aired over the spine from opposite sides and crashed into each other. one guy was okay but the other had like a chunk ****ing out of his leg and they wrapped it up in his shirt and since there was like no one there my friends dad took him to the hospital and apparantlly he was screaming heaps, shits gotta hurt.

A lot of you seriously sound as ignorant as the 10 year old girls I met the last time I went to a skate park. Yes it is true that bikes can do some damage to parks, but if a park is built well, it will last against any abuse a bike can dish out. Even the wooden parks. As for getting ran into by a bike...well that is a whole other story. If you are getting in their way when they take a run, don't complain. Now I'm not saying it is always the skaters' fault or anything. I know there are some bikers that do dumb things and run into people often. The truth is though, even skaters can do things like that too. Same thing goes for every single type of person on this planet. You can't just make general assumptions about a whole group of people. You also can't tell me that if two people on skateboards would run into each other that it wouldn't hurt. As for parks being too small...that is just absurd. My local park is very small. It is probably only about 5000 square feet. Quite often there will be close to 10 or more people in there and there is never an accident between bikers and skateboarders. None of the skaters ever complain about us bikers being there...they respect us and we respect them. Respect can go a long way in a skate park. If you think a biker shouldn't be at a skate park because it is a "skate" park, you are one of the most ignorant people ever. Bikers and skaters ride the same stuff. And to those of you who think everyone should adhere to your opinions, please just take the time to listen to what you are saying. If somebody told you they thought skateboarding looked stupid and then told you to not do it anymore, you would probably tell them to die and then you would go ride. Sorry I have ranted so much, I just want everyone to get along. Ignorance is bliss, but it makes you look like an ass.

Do you know the name of the park? Because I live in Blatimore and I'm looking for new skateparks.
