What MP3 players do you guys use if you have one?
I am thinking of getting the Dell DJ 20.
I was using my friends when we went to NY this weekend and it was pretty nice.

I wear a jacket now (since its cold) and I put it in an inside breast pocket and put it on hold and go skate for hours at a time.

It must skip a lot, does it?
Btw I have one like evilcheese's too, it's got 256 MB and it's so tiny, so perfect, i'm in love with it.

Ive got the Dell DJ 20 and an Ipod mini. I got them both as christmas gifts. I use the mini to skate because its smaller and its got the nifty belt clip. I use the dell for around home. Personally I like the Dell better because of the way the menu is setup and it holds way more songs. Ipods are also getting kind of getting old to now because everyones got one.

dont turn this into a fight over which mp3 player is better (ie ipod vs zenjukebox, etc.). i'm not saying anyone has, this is just a forewarning
and no your minidisk player doesnt count because it's not an mp3 player, its a minidisk player

I've always wanted an mp3 player, but I'd rather just spend my money on other things. Just doesn't seem that important to me that I wouldn't need a cd case anymore (which is sorta bad for me, cos I like looking at the cd's people have instead of their "library")

I skated with my CD player..once. It WAS my favorite CD player. I was holding it, till my face hit the concrete..oops.
I owen a cheap lil' RCA Lyra ($60) that holds 256MB now. I was going to get an expensive iPod, but I just need something cheap, as I can take my music with me anywhere I go mostly (laptop)..I just needed something to run with. It works well for my purposes.
However, forewarning to everyone who is considering the Rio Nitrus: Don't. I spent a good $180 a couple of years ago on one (maybe a few bucks more, I don't remember). It had a 5G drive, which is sweet. I was loving it, and skated with it all the time..tough beast. However, I began to use it just around my house and stuff, and one day it decided to give me an error message (Something like "startup error" or "load error" etc. I looked the error up off yahoo, and it turns out many other Nitrus users had the same thing happen after about 6 months of purpose. After calling Rio, I (we..) found out they want you to pay $90 to get a refurbished one. They basically tell you "huh, it's broke. Buy a used one from us". Just don't..I'd at least go with an iPod mini if you really need 5+ gigs of storage.

It was $6x.xx..I don't remember if it was like $62, $69, etc. Who knows. But two words: Army post. The PX makes bank off selling stuff like that to the new recruits here.

thats where you are wrong my friend just because they are super popular doesn't make them bad. So they might be a little more expensive but big deal they are the best and to prove it why does apple contol like 90% of the MP3 sales???

when has iriver america ever recieved advetising time ?
when has iriver america been endorsed by celebrities ?
apple has the edge because they can afford to shell out the millions for ads, the competition doesn't stand a chance

I have Creative Nomad MuVo 32MB. It's a nice little MP3 player. It's about 2 inches long and about an inch wide so it's VERY portable. It does have a couple of flaws though: It can only hold a limited number of songs and there is no LCD screen. All I can manage to fit on it are 8 or 9 full length songs.
I bought it for for an easy $20. If you're low on cash and you need a cheap MP3 player, get it. If you're looking for lots music space and quality, look else where.
PROS: Cheap, reliable and very small (portable).
CONS: Doesn't hold alot of songs, battery doesn't last long (max time: 4 hours. Don't take it on long trips.) and no LCD screen.
You can find this MP3 player at the following link:
