Fun box rails

i've been thinkin about puttin a rail on the side of my box. I have arail already that i could put on, should i just cut holes on the top and put my rail in those how do i do that

What does you rail look like and how big is your box? I took my rail and cut a hole in the box and stuck the rail threw but Ive got a big box thats heavy enough to keep it sturdy.

do you mean angle iron? put a screw into the 2x4
