Favorite Ramones Song

As I know a lot of the people on here like the Ramones, I decided to make this thread. What's your favorite song?

Mine is easily Endless Vacation. I love the insane speed and Dee Dee's gutteral vocals, although the song is not Ramones style, not to mention way ahead of it's time. You could mistake it for a modern street punk or Oi song.

With the the ramones its hard to pick just one song. Id have pick an album which would have to be Rocket to Russia. I know, I know how orginal but its a classic. It also created a hole new generation of music which leaves me with a lot of respect for the album.

They're overrated to the max (being credited for creating punk single-handedly all the time), but my favorite I guess would have to be Pinhead.

I can't really say I like them too much though.

Yes, they are over-rated, you're right. Doesn't mean they aren't great. And I don't think they started punk at all, I personally credit the beginning with the New York Dolls. Not that punk, really, but it came outta that, I think.

Pinhead..even though im not much into them anymore, also at my school people go parading in their shirts and barely listen to them...and on a relevant note, i was at a demo and corey duffel was there and i freaked out because i thought it was dee dee ramone back from the dead..dude..corey looks exactly like him.. do u think its on purpose

i hate endless vacation, my least favorite song for sure. i think my favorite would have to be either rockaway beach, or cretin hop

Yeah they are way overrated and I don't think they really started punk either. But they were a influence. The whole debate about who started punk is a huge. I had a desscusion about it in music theory once and almost everyone had a different opinion on it.

yes it is on purpose. corey duffel is nothing but an image-driven mediocre pro. he skates decently well ill give him that but is in the monotonous blur of the hammer driven skate scene.

for favorite songs I like Blitzkreig Bop and Garden of Serenity.

My sister was watching Pimp My Ride on MTV and they were laying vinyls in resin and there was a Ramones record and the guys like who the heck are the Ramones.
