My buddy owed me a deck so I picked out this "Powell Classic" Steve Caballero Model reissue. That's my old "Bill Danforth" next to it. Just got it today so I'll be taking it on its maiden voyage tomorrow at the Etnies Skatepark. Just wanted to share, I'm stoked and can't wait. Peace.

Looks great, i love skating new decks. Have you skated pool using a modern shaped deck and if you have do you find older decks better for pool?

I have skated pools with new style skates and it's all good, but I'm just an old school guy who prefers old style wide pool decks. I've got an 8" deck but haven't set it up yet.

Nice. I still have my old school deck my dad bought my brother before he was born, lol. Turns out I was the one who'd be using it, so it's all mine now!

my friend collects a lot of old school decks, i love doing kickflips on them knowing that many of the people who used these decks couldnt.

Ya Glimmer, it's fun watching my son do street tricks ala ollies and flip tricks on my pool decks.

wow, looks great. my first deck was an oldschool shaped deck, used it mainly for riding a quarter and a ramp in the village i live in, ollieng was possible on it but i found it hard and flipping just didn't work for me

Looks good mon, I met some dudes at Ramp Ranch, right, and they had their own carved out boards..crazy old ****ers, I tell you! One was riding a long board in the pool, it was so damn cool..They were sick, and that was pretty cool, and BTW, That board is pretty nice!
