Alot of people stress "pop" meaning how hard you push your tail down, and while that is important what is more important i think is just being light on your feet. In most cases people can pop all they want, and the board stick to their feet just fine, but their own bodies are limiting the height of the ollie. My point is that instead of focusing on pushing down with so much force, focus more on jumping high, just think of yourself as a spring and let yourself shoot upwards.

yeah don't focus on popping the tail, focus on jumping high, the pop will come naturally.

Don't think about it too much. Put it in your head what you have to do. And just tell your body to remember to jump(suck up your knees).

don't practice practicing is dumb...buy more sh!t and you'll be a better skater. that's how tony hawk did it, he bought the most expensive setup he could, he never even practiced at all. |
