Since my Father threw out my Santa Cruz deck with Thunder trucks & ToadStool wheels...the deck I've had since '95 or so, I couldn't stop thinking about it.

So I ordered a new complete....
Trying to stay on a low buget but still not get the cheapest parts:

CCS SLICK DECK BLACK - Size 7.75
STAGE 10 TRUCKS SILVER - Size 7.75
SPITFIRE BIG HEAD WHEELS WHRDBK - Size 54
INDY GENUINE SPEED BEARINGS SILVER
MOB GRIP TAPE ONE
HARDWARE LUCKY BOLTS
LUCKY RISERS GREEN 1/8 HEIG

Total cost was about $94

I still have an older Tim Brauch SMA deck that I got in '94 that's almost totally shredded. I'm going to put the trucks on that one first and get the feel for skating again before I try out the new deck.

What happened to slick decks? does everyone hate them except me? I found slicks to be perfect.
I'm shopping for a new setup, and I found that CCS offers a slick deck...I think I will buy it
