Basically it's just the pros perogative for where they think is best for them. Hell if i was getting paid 6 figures to ride my skateboard, **** yea i'd do it. Let's be honest here you can't competitively skate forever, these skaters having some cash flow now of all times to put in savings, is hardly a bad thing.
Besides the point is koston, trapasso, pj ladd, arto, lizard, etc. they all rip regardless of what shoes they're kicking.

Koston leaving lakai... leaving eS in the first place is shit. Nike has nothing going for most of its pros, one or two promodels? If your lucky you can get a colorway. But everything gets a colorway. K-swiss is just garbage.
dammit TrAnce, give me time to answer.

Never said that the money isn't worth it but their legitimacy shouldn't be sunk just to make the money. Cons look legit but dropping vans for it will leave a dark cloud over the dude for a long time. Good move for the money, bad for his rep.. for a while atleast. Anywhere Koston will go, he will be making a huge amount of money, he won't stay at any footwear permanently I feel. Made a ton at eS, made a ton at lakai, and will make a ton at nike. Hope he doesn't drop girl and other og sponsors for the money though.

Koston must do coke or something, because how could he possibly need more money. If anything if (and this is a big if) he's only switching sponsors in an attempt to make more money, he should instead invest his money in non skateboarding avenues.

Independent Truck Co. Adds Five
The combined power of Leo Romero, Justin Figueroa, Benny Fairfax, Joey Brezinski, and Bob Burnquist has been recently harnessed by Independent Truck Co. and their already mighty team of skaters. Welcome dudes!

I actually like the change to Toy Machine and Independent though.
What I don't like is Koston's choices so far.

Yeah, Koston left Ogio too right? I have no problem he's on Nike but he definetly fit in on Lakai better. And as for Leo, Toy Machine seems better for him but I would rather skate Thunder than Indy but whatever Indy's really good too.

But Kalis has been with AWS for forever! Whatevs, humans are fickle creatures... But for me, there can be only one sponsor!
You get three guesses.

Wow. Haven't done this in awhile.

Lyn-Z Adams Hawkins first woman to land McTwist
article.

Guess Foundation's Newest Pro
article.

New Recruits and Team Change Ups
We’re not quite past our first week into the new year and already there’s been plenty of movement amongst riders and rosters of sorts. Adding to the team rider-related news that we’ve posted up over the past six days, Jamie Palmore has been added to the Osiris skate team as one of their bona fide ams.

Now that Reese Forbes has moved on from Skate Mental he has made it known that he’s backing the efforts and (and new skate goods) with his pal Michael Leon at Stacks.

Habitat skateboards is proud to announce Guru Khalsa and Daryl Angel as their newest professional riders with signature decks out sooner than later.

Omar Salazar has parted ways with Analog clothing.

Mysteriously, Lindsey Robertson, Dan Murphy and Everen Stallion have gone missing from the team roster at Mystery skateboards. Hopefully, that’s a technical mix up…Lindsey still appears on Blackbox’s team room page.

Elsewhere, rising ams Derrick Wilson of Long Beach and Ian Twa from Vancouver are now officially on Affiliate alongside Neen Williams, Dax Miller, and Andre Colbert.

Luan Goes Pro

After back to back Tampa Am wins, a sick video part and putting in heaps work with demos, photo shoots and such, Luan Oliveira has stepped up to the professional ranks with his own signature deck on Flip.
