New Tony Hawk game to be revealed May 15
I know I posted this in the latest news thread but I wanted to post it out here to get a bigger reaction and to see what you guys thought.
New Tony Hawk Game To Be Revealed May 15 | Transworld Skateboarding uh oh guys. They're making a new Tony Hawk game that is supposed to be revealed May 15. "If you’ve been jonesing for the next installment of Tony Hawk’s video game empire, the news will be here this Friday. Tony’s been a Tweeting madman and announced that May 15 via GameTrailers TV, the new game will be revealed. Via blastmagazine.com: “Tony’s tweet was as such: “May 15 all will be revealed about our new game (dropping this year). I have been harboring the secret long enough.”" So what do you guys think? I honestly think they should give up. The Skate franchise is better and will out do any game that Tony Hawk makes.

The Skate franchise is better, but there are still a lot of people out there who like to stick to the old classics.
But it still sounds like a bad idea to me.

haha, i dusted off my old copy of THPS just yesterday. ya know, i commend tony for doing SO much for the skate community, he basically revived skateboarding in the 90's and made it what it is today. i doubt any skater today hasn't been influenced some way by his video games...that said, i do think it's time for him to give it up. unless his new game is truly revolutionary, he needs to hang it up and stick with skateboarding. but, i am looking forward to see what he's got in store.

i love tony hawk, but i love skate.
but tony hawk is most likely the one who got the kids off the couch to think about skating. lol. why dont they just join forces of some way>?? lol. or he just makes a game just as realistic, i like the the board idea. i would deffinetly buy it. |
