    Default Blank Deck Reviews.

Ok well i think that we should have a thread about experiences with blank decks because it would be helpful and the whole reason i got on this site was because i wanted to know about pop-lite blank decks and there are probably other people that have came here to learn about blanks and there probably will be more people looking for info on blanks so if anyone has had any kind of blank, then say what kind it was where you got it from and how good it is/was. Here is mine:

    Kind: Pop-Lite
    got it from ebay

I just got done skating my first pop-lite blank deck and i liked it. It has good pop, nice concave, and it is a little longer than most decks (i liked that probably because i am tall.) It lasted me about a week and a half and that is probably barely under the average of how long most decks last for me. You cant expect pro deck quallity out of a blank deck but 3 pop-lites would probably last me around the same time as 2 pro decks and 3 pop-lites are cheaper than 2 pro decks so i would call that a good deal. It didn't break, it just got soggy in the tail (didn't get wet) and it didn't have pop any more. I would say that it is the 2nd best deck i ever had (including pro decks). 1st place goes to my popwar. overall i would give the pop-lite a 9/10.

on my 2nd one (friend hooked me up). what can i say.. last summer i had one and it lasted me the entire summer basically. i loved it. the shape feels a little weird at first, but you get used to it. the pop was nice, it's ****ing strong, and it's just an all around nice deck. if i ever buy a blank deck off blankdecks.com it's always gonna be a California blank. it's just not worth buying a different deck other than the California blank. i bought a Canadian blank off there and it sucked compare to the California blank. cheapest and best.

Pretty good deck. Similar pop to the Sturdy Molds, but seemed to chip and die a lot faster. Shape is more smoothed out than the Sturdy Mold. Lasted from sometime after summer to the middle of winter. Eventually the tail snapped, and I only skated flat with it.

This is pretty much all i skate now and my favorite deck that i have ever skated. When you get your first one the shape is a little different but within a few minutes of riding it you fall in love with it. They last incredibly long and are pretty hard to chip/break. I've had probably around 6 of them and its probably gonna be the only deck i skate unless a friend hooks me up with something different. And think about it. You can order in bulk form blankdecks.com, so you can order 10 decks for around $160. 3 pro decks would cost around $150. I think the 10 decks is a better deal.

Great deck. I'm on my second now and I love it. The curve on the nose is noticeably short and steep, not hard to get used to. Nice pop, nice shape, good durability. My last one lasted me most of the summer, when I learned many of my tricks. I'm sticking with these for a while.

My local shop. I've had this board for over 3 months now, and I love it. I have had 12 or 13 of them now. only 20 bucks per board with 5 dollar grip. The pop is nice, the concave is really nice, and lasts long. I definitely recommend trying them out.

Wow, buy this deck. It's only $25 and is one of the best decks that I've ever skated. The pop is just unbelievable. I don't know how it'll hold, because I just got it, but my other blank skate decks were tight.
As a plus, I've never been to a cooler city than Pittsburgh. Killer spots.

i love this deck. I've had it for about 3 months now, its got major pressure cracks but has no chips. The pop is great, still got some left in it. It was only 25 altogether with shipping and everything, so its a pretty good deal. the only complaint is that my bottom came kinda messed up, there were little pressure cracks already when i got it, and they only got bigger.

The deck was pretty well all around the pop was good for a while, pressure cracks showed up about 3 weeks later. and it started to loose its pop then. It became rather flexy then again. One major problem the board had a huge crack from a boardslide that shot out that hit the rail on its side. a huge crack showed up and the board eventually broke from a couple of more slides....

Overall: Pretty good deck while it lasts.Price no really worth it as much. Good for a deck if you need if for about a
few weeks and then sell it maybe..it was pretty good and it just couldnt take much really.not as worse as a few other blanks i skated..

Amazing, end of story. great pop, great shape, extremely strong. It has no pressure cracks on it, a some chips from the couple times that it fell off a loading dock. i've abused this board in every non-intentional way possible and it's still going. though it did get it's revenge from the numerous times i've been ass-raped. may just be me though... i just ordered another one because they didn't have the size i wanted for like another 3 weeks. just make sure to get some jessup (as the grip that it comes with isn't the best) and you're set. while more expensive than a blank, easily the best decks that i've ever skated.

I had it for about 2.5 months. It had amazing pop for its entire life, it got very brittle in the cold (my fault) but still was a great board. The shape is very easy to get accustomed to, and the board had the perfect amount of stiffness. 9/10.

Are Minilogos considered blanks ? 'Cause I've been getting those for my son and they are sick. The ones with K12 Concave are really nice.

id consider it a blank. i guess just post on any deck that isnt like pro or a deck that not very many people skate. just not shop decks make it something that pretty much anyone can get.

This isnt just for blanks... if you want to review small companies (like Urban Royal Flats or Corporate Imposter or somethin like that) that would be great too.

Great deck. Lots of pop, medium concave, fairly large nose and tail (took me a day to get used to). I'll probably be skating many more of these.

I haven't tried that many blanks, but between these two, the Sturdy Mold wins.

    Type:Canadian Blank
    From:blankdecks.com
    Price:18.99

Ive had this deck from early december until now and there is ahrdly any damage. It has pretty good pop and has a relatively normal shape.
One problem with it is that its heavy. This takes getting used to.
It is amazingly strong-there is no pressure cracks or chips(and i usually skate stairs and whatnot).

I reccomend you give this board a try atleast once.
    8.5 out of ten.

My lil' bro got a moose from ebay, he doesnt use it much, but the couple times i rode on it, it just seemed wimpy. Not that great of pop, not sturdy...unless you are beginner, they'd work, if not, dont bother with them

Kind: Moose Canadian Maple Blank Deck
Got it from local skatepark, or: http://www.mooseskateboards.com/

Had it for 2 months now, it is a decient board, with great pop, but it has more pop in the front than the back. An all around great Blank. I reccoment it for anybody who wants a decient board, but wants to get somthing inexpensive.
    Im a newbie.
