I was gonna make a thread on these, but I'll use this one. I can get into 'em, kinda, but i can't slide them. Any help would be appreciated. surrey_skater, try them on curbs/very low ledges. The way I get into them is to ollie, so that you're about the curb, then trun so that you're sideways about it, then set it down on the curb. You need some good board control for these, I've figured out.

its like a lipslide but different. same motion tho, except you put most of your weight on your back foot. and you have to stomp it down right on the corner of the box and lock in good.

Pretend like you're leaning in with your back foot with your ts's. Lean in on the ledge to keep it sliding.

tailslides is all about timing. Theres lotsa weight shifting involved so it gets pretty tricky. When u ollie up and do a 90, ure gonna shift weight away from ure back foot so the tail will be right over the ledge or whatever and u wanna quickly shift and lean back onto the tail as or right before u smack the tail down. You gotta do it pretty fast depending on what ure doing it on. Sry if thats kinda weird to understand.

First of all learn to ollie into noseslides don't step in noseslide because it's a filthy habit and don't look as good as ollie in ones. Just ollie onto the ledge and lean in while sliding your foot like an ollie 90 degrees. Lean into it to keep it sliding and then just turn your body to land. They're pretty easy.

Gulf wax or candles are the best things to use. Ledge Butta you can buy at a local skateshop for like 3 or 4 bucks and it is well good.
