Transworld's A Time To Shine review

Well I'm back, though some of you probably never noticed i was gone. Ah well, I am here to review Transworld's A Time To Shine. May I start off by saying... on second thought, I'm not going to spoil it for you. Without further ado, it's time for our feature presentation. Cooper Wilt is up first. As with every Transworld video, we need a quick little intro with him explaining his thoughts on skating. He basically tells you that he likes to skate a lot of different things but forgets to mention that he does them all well. Did i see Daewon Song and Chris Haslam in here? They fit into the video nicely and, of course, totally rip. I didn't like Cooper's part in Round 3 but this one is much better soo... don't skip it. Chris Roberts goes second. Mostly ledges and manuals, not much variety. None at all, actually. That doesn't mean that the part's not good (it isn't). Worth a looksie, it's not mind-blowing but )just barely) makes it out of the skipable territory. Moontaaage, yeah. A good one at that. I don't want to ruin it but let's just saying it includes a man "dancing" on the ceiling and a kid dropping into a wall. Yes, i said wall, no ramping whatsoever. Skaters include the late Shane Cross (Mr. Dropping Into A Wall), Angel Ramirez, Dennis Durrant, Cairo Foster, PJ Ladd, Diego the Butcher, and Leo Romero. Good song too, in case your wondering. The fugative, Ronson Lambert, after that. Like his tricks. Don't like his style, sketchyness, music, editing, and vibe. You can skip it but there might come the day when your on Who Wants To Be A Millionare(c) and you get a qustion about Ronson Lambert soo... Chad Tim Tim's monoluage intro couldn't be more true. Can you say "I-really-need-to-watch-this-part-because-it's-awsome-though-I-didn't-like-the-music-all-that-much?" If you can, you just said it all. Paul Rodriguez, Jerome Rogers, and Mike Talyor blend into a delicious, pineapple-mango smoothie-like part. They're all great, P-rod at the top. Mike Taylor's style still has traces of that undeveloped look to them, not ripe quite yet. I will say that the video doesn't properly do Jerome Rogers justice. Wish it could have been longer, like three parts long, but it is great never the less. You deserved to be mugged if you buy the video and don't watch this part. Dylan Rieder contradicts himself in his intro. He skates with speed, power, and confidence... and a cast. His tricks are unfathomable. His Matrix-like, running up the resovior wall thingy was awesome awesome awesome. A must see. Credits. Watch Them. Another great video by Transworld, is there anything that they're not awesome at? (Question was rhetorical by the way) Truly great, worth the bucks and the 45 minutes. 9.25/10
